2011 Reflection Challenge

Day 1: A few things you will never forget in 2011.

Also, the very happy and epic weekend (Sept. 10-11) where I got to attend a web design conference in Makati and had to run to Laguna for the AIESEC-UST ACamp. After the ACamp, I got to meet-up with CK and went to UPLB. Had fun running around while CK was having a hard time carrying a water dispenser and following me while looking for his parents’ car. I’m a mean bitch. His parents drove me home from Laguna (as in from Laguna to our doorstep!). They are sooo nice plz. I also went home with lots of goodies from Laguna, some are from CK’s parents. BRB crying tears of joy forever.

On the BV side however, I got accused of attempting to cheat on a quiz because I left my things on an empty chair beside me. Ultimate suicidal moment. Only 80% of my score for that quiz was considered. Oh well, that’s better than having a case at the dean’s office. Heck, for starters, I didn’t even cheat and I don’t have any intentions. I was just so sabog that time, doing last-minute reviews so I left my notes like that. I managed however, with a grade of 3.0, though it is not really related to the accusation. I’m so bitter about that, I got above average scores in my past quizzes but the last ones were so sabog because we crammed the lessons. Also, my raw ave is above the passing, but for some considerations, students who fell just a little below the passing were also given 3.0. The prof should have just adjusted the range of scores so I’ll get a higher one. :( I’m so bitter, I thought I can finally have a semester without a 3.0 grade.

Day 2: Relationship(s).

Ahh, I love first days of the month. CK is an amazing guy, I sometimes get insecure of his (manly) awesomeness (sounded like an insecure guy, haha). For the past year (years, friendship included) we never had a fight or misunderstanding. We had problems but those were all caused by external factors (no, not about third parties,). We never get to see each other every day, heck, not even every week and there are times not even every month, but I feel a gap never existed between us. We don’t even message each other every day. Sorry, lifetime relationship meter level is over 9000. (Wow I missed that meme, I missed those references (Sims and DBZ))


Day 3: The best day.

Sept. 11 I think, the Laguna (sort of) escapade. Sorry Americans.


Day 4: The worst day. 

The suicidal day that I was accused of attempting to cheat.


Day 5: The most memorable moment.

The pyromusical moment at the UST Quadri Celebration? I was in the front row, just below the grandstand and the fireworks were lighted just above me. It was magical.

And of course, Feb. 25 moment, I think? Was that 25…
Day 6: Your best friend(s).

Leidi and Kim, my future PFS-mates and my future partners for Earnshaw Ventures, hahaha. They are my best friends in class and in everything IE related. (I’m the most retarded-looking in our group, taken after the fun run of our college near Luneta). We’ve been blockmates since our second year, 2nd sem.

Here’s JC, my kapatid. He’s my friend for the longest time in college. We usually watch each other’s backs whether in acads or in org stuff,or even in personal life. Met him when he was my blockmate and seatmate in some subjects for one sem and we’ve been orgmates (and he’s one of my few ‘still existing’ org batchmates) since 2009.

Here’s Ate Kit and a very sabog me. Ate Kit is my ultimate ATE. God, I never had someone like her who can actually act like my true older sister. I’ve been wanting one for the longest time and I finally found her! Even outside TomWeb and even though she has already graduated, she’s someone I can rely to. Met her in TomWeb, she was the VP-External when I joined. I’m the VP-Ext now. It runs in the blood, haha. Together with JC and our new recruit, my QBFF Len, we call ourselves the ‘evil siblings’ of TomWeb.


Day 7: Your birthday.

My birthday celebration was pretty sad. I was expecting a happy reunion with lots of good people because it was a long weekend for all of us. However, it was fun because 3 of my favorite guys came. Oh, I think only those three are on my favorite guy friends at the high school side list, so, they are complete! Yay~

Anyway, my birthday itself was kinda good, because CK visited me in our house and played an acoustic (and lulzy) version of Lady Gaga’s You and I. :’>

Day 8: The funnest getaway.

I actually did not have fun the way one should have fun in that event because I was one of the facilitators. I’m very happy that the participants had fun though. It was my huge stress reliever.


Day 9: The end of last school year/the beginning of this one.

End of A.Y. 2010-2011 was fine, still got a 3.0, lol. Beginning of 2011-2012 was challenging, not because of the acad load but because of my org commitments. I’m active at 3 organizations this acad year. /wrist


Day 10: New Year resolutions.

  • I will learn how to cook. LOL.
  • Don’t ever expect to accomplish acad stuff inside the org room. Orgmates are just… batshit crazy, for a lack of better word. HAHA
  • I’ll devote one hour every day writing whatever is inside my mind at the moment. Or maybe an hour of reading anything related to IE.
  • I’ll never eat isaw anymore… if it’s not from the Mang Isaw I like.
  • Attend more seminars and conferences! ATTEND THEM ALL.
  • Also, next school year, as much as I would really hate to, I need to focus on everything IE. That is, good bye all other interests! ;_; I have to graduate and this is my last chance to.
